The Quadra Island Seniors Housing Society is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprising six members. These dedicated individuals, who are all active members of the Quadra Island community, bring a diverse range of talents to their roles as they work collaboratively to shape and support our housing community.
Today and in the future, seniors and families can confidently expect to benefit significantly from the effective stewardship of our board of directors. Our directors advocate for the interests of the Quadra Island Seniors Housing Society, utilizing their expertise to uphold the integrity of the organization, ensure the effective management of its assets, and further our mission of providing a safe home for the seniors of Quadra Island.

Joining the Quadra Island Seniors Housing Society gives you the chance to be
involved in a significant aspect of our community.
As a member, you play a vital role in the decision-making process of the Society
and can share your personal insights.

How Our Members Contribute...
- Cast votes during members' meetings.
- Receive notifications about members' meetings.
- Propose additional items to be included in members' meetings.
- Request the directors to convene a members' meeting
and initiate a meeting themselves if the directors do not comply.

Elect and dismiss members from the board of directors.

Endorse or validate the by-laws.

Review corporate records, such as the minutes book.

Receive statements and reports from accountants
and auditors.

Approve significant or fundamental changes, such as alterations to the corporation's objectives or purposes.
